With a distinguished career spanning over 23 years in the North Bergen Police Department, Henry Marrero retired as a Lieutenant, having contributed significantly to public safety and community welfare.
Henry's professional journey commenced in 1997 when he assumed the role of Corrections Officer at Hudson County Jail, subsequently advancing to the position of Lead Investigator in the Gang Unit. Demonstrating exceptional competence, he transitioned to the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office in 2001 before returning to his roots in North Bergen Police Department. There, he held various pivotal roles, including Sergeant for the Juvenile and Adult Gang Unit, member of the FBI Hostage Negotiation Team, Arson Investigator, Megan’s Law Investigator, and a member of the Emergency Response Team.
In 2018, Henry attained the rank of Lieutenant, marking a significant milestone in his illustrious career. Building upon his wealth of experience and dedication to public service, Henry Marrero ventured into the private sector, co-founding Marrero Private Security and Protective Services alongside his Brother Ivan, a retired Lieutenant in the United Nations Security Division. This venture caters to esteemed clientele, including Fortune 500 companies, where Henry has served as Head of Security and Transportation for several CEOs and their families.
Marrero Private Security boasts a notable presence in Teterboro Airport, facilitated by Henry's Armed Security Officers License, enabling him to accompany clients to Washington D.C. in compliance with post-9/11 aviation security regulations. Henry's expertise extends across various domains, with certifications in aviation security, corporate security, and close personal protection for dignitaries and CEOs.
